Franky Abbott is the publicity coordinator for the Digital Programs Team at the Robert W. Woodruff Library. She also works as an Editorial Associate for Southern Spaces.

Franky is a PhD student in the American Studies program at Emory University's Graduate Institute of the Liberal Arts. She has an MA in Southern Studies from the University of Mississippi and a B.A. in Literature and African-American Studies from Yale University.

Franky's interests include digital scholarship, southern studies and contemporary African-American literature and culture. She studies 20th century African-American migration.
