57. Six letters, written in Welsh, from Elias J. Prichard to his family between 1863 and 1864. Prichard served in the band of the 22nd Wisconsin Infantry Regiment. He was in the Atlanta Campaign, during which members of the band of his regiment were detailed to serve as nurses in the field hospital. Typescript copies of English translations of the letters accompany the originals.
