- Recto: The Southern Hotel. Denton, Texas. Dis here am Jake; Verso: He's a typical Southern Negro. Post card. Correspondence. Address only. This is the hotel I usually stay in at Denton. Jake gave me the card. He's an old Negro. He was a boy during slavery down here. He remembers quite a bit of that period. AEK. 50-
