Reminiscences by Lewis E. Warren entitled "Recollections of the War Between the States," Warren was a Confederate private from Company E, 10th Georgia Infantry Regiment, Army of Northern Virginia. Warren describes the regiment as well as the various campaigns and battles in which he took part or about which he heard including the Peninsular Campaign and the Seven Days' Battles (1862), the Gettysburg Campaign (1863), the Siege of Knoxville (1863), and the Battle of the Wilderness (1864)
