Recto: My old Kentucky home. 2117-30; Verso: My old Kentucky home. Bardstown, KY. The sun shines bright in my old Ken-tuck-y home. The home was built as a summer home in 1795 by John Rowan, Sr., a young lawyer of Louisville, Ky. The bricks came from England, were landed at Newport News, Va., and brought to Kentucky on sledges in winter along the Indian trails, drawn by oxen, driven by slaves. Postcard. Place stamp here. One cent for United States & island possessions. Two cents for Cuba, Canada and Mexico. Three cents for foreign
