Description / Abstract:
Recto: Old Warren County Court House, Vicksburg, Miss. - 17; Verso: The old Warren County Court House, completed in 1858, was built by slave labor. Was struck only one time during the Siege of Vicksburg in 1863. It stands on a block of ground given to the county from the Vick Estate, founders of the city. At present it is a museum, operated by the Historical Society. Published by Capitol News, Jackson, Miss. Natural color post card made in U.S.A. by E.C.
