- Description / Abstract:
- Recto: Old slave huts, the hermitage, Savannah, Ga.; Verso: A-14128, Post card, Quality Southern Post Card Company, Asheville, N.C., Savannah. Savannah is rich in historical lore, is a city of 92,000 people and is known for its beautiful buildings, semi-tropical verdure, 24 municipal parks and 100 mile boulevard chain, nine suburban resorts, golf and outdoor sports, modern hotels and varied amusements. The climate is ideal, the city is both winter and summer resort and the Atlantic Ocean contributes surf bathing un-excelled in the South. It is indeed, Savannah, the Southern Key to Land and Sea.
