Description / Abstract:
Recto: 1959, A vote worker talks to a prospect beside the Vote-mobile of the Norfolk Alliance of Political Action Committees. This Vote-mobile is equipped with loud speaker. Daily between 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 it patrols the Negro cummunity encouraging all to take time to become a voter. One of the favorite slogans is: If you don't take time to vote in Norfolk, you might as well be in Mississippi where you can't vote.
