- Recto: Mch. 22, 1910, E.H.G., A typical scene in the lower Cape Fear section, N.C.; Verso: No. C 4501, published by the American News Company, New York, Leipzig, Berlin and Dresden, ANC N.Y., Leipzig Berlin Dresden, ANC N.Y., Litho-Chrome, trade-mark, Germany, Post Card, Mch. 22d, Dear Unior, Which would you like best to draw, this team, or the one I sent last of the ostrich? Or a real pony? I have not seen any ponies on my travels as yet when I do, we'll think of you. Am wondering if you have finished the work in Aunt Julia's room, with the help of those painters. I had a sail to-day up or down the river Ardsley ... saw several herons or storks standing in the low water. Saw some ducks, wild ducks. Uncle Charlie said if he had a gun he could shoot one or more. Saw some seagulls and one porpoise. When we got at the end of our sail, saw some beautiful flowers, ... of many colors, in bloom, some azalias, and many beautiful trees, with moss haning from them. Love, Grandma, Post Card, Blacks, 12-, Postage: United States and island possessions, Cuba, Canada and Mexico one cent, for all other countries two cents, 121923
