- Verso: Charlotte Johnson on lap of one of the Andrew sisters of MD. Ave., Annapolis, MD. The four Andrew sisters adopted her and treated her as a younger sister. When each of them died, they provided for her in their wills. A news article described Charlotte as the 'richest colored woman' in MD. Miss Charlotte, then in her 80's was my neighbor during a part of the 1970's
