General 1968, 1st to be made General in combat, 481, frist to command a combat brigade, 1st to command a division, was in 366th infantry in WW2, 215, 2904, the Department of the Army has no objection to the publication of this photograph. Its use in commercial advertisement must be approved by the Public Information Division, Office of the Chief of Information, Department of the Army, the Pentagon, Washington 25, D.C. If published please credit U.S. Army Photograph
