Description / Abstract:
Recto: Greetings from Pinehurst, N.C. E.L. Merrow, publ. Cotton picking; Verso: Post Card Address only Miss Louisa Eaton. Medway, Mass. Correspondence Pinehurst, Dec. 4. Dear Louisa. The ground was white this morning, but not with cotton. During the night there had been a slight fall of snow. Before it was ruined, the cotton was stored in the schoolhouse & one day I was renewing my youth & jumping round in it with the children & so broke my glasses! We have had uproarious times playing parlor polo, a game described in a recent youth's companion. Longly Thaster. Pinehurst Dec 8 M 1910, U.S. Postage One Cent
