- Verso: The plate glass windows of the august antique shops on Royal Street shudder to the brassy vibrations of When The Saints Go Marching In. Sunday Jazz parades are making a comeback in New Orleans' Vieux Carre. In the old days, the bands were followed by a Second Line of young boys tootling on penny whistles. These have been supplanted today by the young artists, and writers of the French Quarter, afecionados of Dixieland and curious tourists.
