- Verso: The Lake Shore Plantation Inn. Lake Wales, Fla. (American and European plan). The Inn is famous for the friendly service furnished by an efficiently trained staff--all costumed in the dress of the era of the old Southern plantation. Situated on 5 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, and overlooking Crystal Lake, the Inn radiates contentment and hospitality in an atmosphere of a by-gone day. K. Tropicolor by Marlin T.
