Recto: Strawberry picking time in West Tennessee; Verso: First strawberries in Tennessee. David M. Brandenburg came to this region from his native Maryland in 1867. He established the first large-scale strawberry-growing operation in Tennessee. The industry has now become an important factor in the produce economy of West Tennessee. Color by L.d.
